Doctor’s Advice
Dr. Imran Shah (MBBS, FCPS – Infectious Diseases, Lahore)
“Levofloxacin is a powerful and reliable antibiotic that we use for many common infections in Pakistan, particularly chest and urinary infections. However, it must be taken exactly as prescribed and never stopped early. Overuse or misuse can lead to resistance and serious side effects, especially on tendons and nerves. Patients should always complete the course and report any unusual symptoms immediately.”
